Delivery Policy
We inspect each item with great attention to detail prior to delivering it. In the event that you receive any items that are not in a satisfactory condition, please get in touch with The Dress Room within 24 hours of receiving the goods.
We utilise express courier service to send out all orders. Our cutoff time for courier pickups is 2.00pm, Monday-Friday. Should you place an order after this time, it will be shipped on the following day. An email with the tracking number will be sent to you once your order has been dispatched, allowing you to monitor its progress.
We highly suggest that you reserve your products at least two days in advance (three if your region is rural) of the event to guarantee that they arrive on time.
All items are sent on an overnight courier, with signature required, to arrive on or before the start date of your rental.
It is essential to book the day before your event or journey if it falls during the daytime; in this way, you will be sure to receive your garment in time.
When you receive the garment, you will be provided with a prepaid, pre-addressed bag (if you have purchased one) to return the item the day after your rental period ends (this MUST be purchased if located out of Auckland).
Please double-check the information that will come with your order to confirm when the garment should be returned. When packaging the garment, please make sure to drop it off at the nearest NZ Post Shop and hand it over the counter. Do not put it in a street postbox. Postboxes may not be cleared as often, and this can lead to late fees being charged.
Late Delivery
In the event of your order not being received by your start date, if this is returned to us immediately you receive it with the tag attached we will refund in full less delivery fees.
Damaged items
If your item arrives wet or damaged due to Courier delivery or items left we will refund once returned but we do not accept responsibility for Courier negligence.
Saturdays
For those living in Auckland, we offer our pick-up service. Orders must be placed within 2 hours of our store hour closing times to qualify. Select “Pick-up” on the checkout and after choosing Saturday delivery on the Calendar.
Return of items
When you receive your item and it appears to have been damaged, you need to let us know right away. We will offer a full refund, replacement or exchange.
